ABSTRACT
The National Program of Continuous Improvement of Quality in Stomatological Services, as its name indicates, is aimed at evaluating the good development of the activities in comprehensive general stomatology--excluding the specialized ones as that of stomatological prosthesis --, both clinical and laboratorial activities; however, the methodology proposed in the program constitutes an instrument which also facilitates to elaborate a methodological guide for the evaluation of quality in the clinical services of prosthesis and it constitutes an useful tool for the professionals of that branch, since it allows to identify problems and deficiencies emerging from the care process, to establish strategies to solve them and to guarantee good health benefits from the 3 elements of the quality assessment pattern: structure, process and results. In fact, it is a viable and dynamic proposal to evaluate holistically the clinical process of the prosthetic services and to improve continuously their quality.REFERENCES
