ABSTRACT
Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder caused by a
dopamine deficit that triggers important motor and non-motor alterations. A large
group of them attracts the interest of the neurophthalmologists. This disease has
always been more recognized by its motor alterations. The main objective of this
review was to make emphasis on the diagnosis of visual disorders in Parkinson's
disease patients and thus to improve their quality of life. An extensive search was made in PUBMED where 60 articles on this topic, published from 1984 to 2012, were
reviewed.
