Instrument of economic evaluation for the measurement of life years adjusted to quality in aged persons

ABSTRACT
An unique tool of cost - utility type analysis, to measure the life years adjusted to
quality in aged adults was designed, which includes satisfaction, life quantity and
quality, motivated by shortcomings in the economic evaluation of the National Program
of Comprehensive Care to the elderly. This includes 5 dimensions and 3 levels in each
of them. The results show that the designed tool determines the life years adjusted to
quality.
