Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the small intestine with leukemoid reaction associated with Mycobacterium tuberculosis in immunocompetent child

ABSTRACT

We describe a rare case of the association of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and inflammatory myofibloblastic tumor with leukemoid reaction in an immunocompetent pediatric patient. The report of this case indicates that the diagnosis of tuberculosis and the presence of a mass, with leukemoid reaction forces to consider this association.
