ABSTRACT
Objective: To establish the concurrent validity of the temporal lobe epilepsy evaluation EV-POL test, by correlation with the MMPI-2. Method: Both tests were applied to a sample of 49 Mexican volunteers. Results: The correlations found were coherent with the hypotheses in regards to the MMPI-2 scales that evaluate symptoms and disorders that are observed in temporal lobe epilepsy. Conclusion: The results suggest that the EV-POL test has concurrent validity.
