ABSTRACT

We apply the term gliomatosis cerebelli to the primary tumor of the central nervous system which origins from the cerebellum with a diffuse neoplastic spread of astrocytes and secondary dissemination to the brainstem, cerebrum and spinal cord. We present a pediatric case report treated in our Institution, Hospital de Pediatria, Unidad de Medicina de Alta Especialidad, Centro Medico Nacional de Occidente, Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
