ABSTRACT
In accordance with Pardos’s article (2011), the present paper provides some comments about the distinction between act and thought raised by Wallon and the misconceptions that have arisen. These comments also make a reflection about the contribution of the theoretical bodies of the psycholgy of learning and comparative cognition. While both still maintaining in their original approaches the act-thought distinction, they are now highly developed theoretical approaches with empirical coherence not only among themselves but with the neurosciences.
