ABSTRACT
As a comment to Pardos’ article on “Kuhn, Wallon and the anomalies of functional psychology”, this paper reviews some inconsistencies found in the works of Wilhelm Wundt and William James. Special attention is paid to those concerning the mind-body problem and the definition and methods as well, to conclude that psychology as a science was problematic since its very beginnings.
