ABSTRACT
The estimated frequency of the fetal multicystic kidney disases is 0.3 for every 1,000 newborns alive. On the majority of the cases the involution of kidney dysplasia occurs, as shown by the posterior echographic tests. When the infection is unilateral, the contralateral kidney may allow the survival at birth. This report exposes the case of a 18 years of age patient who carries a fetus with right unilateral multicystic kidney disease, whom was evaluated on the service of fetal maternal medicine, with a follow up excluding other deformations with second level ultrasound.
