ABSTRACT
A 17 years of age female patient, first-timer diagnosed with Systemic lupus erythematosus and Lupus Nephritis class IV proliferating diffuse since she was 10 years old, treated with prednisone, chloroquine, azathioprine, medicines that were suspended a year ago without medical indication. Coursing 18 weeks of pregnancy, initiates general discomfort, generalized edema, hypertension and skin lesions reason why she attends to prenatal control consultation. She is appraised and diagnosed with chronic renal disease (CRD) stage V second to Lupus Nephritis and admitted for kidney substitution therapy.The Systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that mainly affects women on fertile age. The active renal affectation as Lupus Nephritis o a outbreak of SLE at the time of conception or new beginning during pregnancy is accompanied by an increase on maternal, fetal and neonatal morbidity-mortality, so is fundamental that patients with this pathology are closely observed for the achievement of better results for the binomial.
