Stress urinary incontinence
often remains undetected and
undertreated by health care
personnel woldwide despite its
substantial impact upon affected
individuals and health care
systems. Specialized testing and
referral are requiered initially
in only a minority of cases,
therefor, this bibliographic
review approaches diagnosis
and initial treatment of stress
urinary incontinence in women
in primary care.
