ABSTRACT
Kawasaki disease is an acute, multisystemic, febrile vasculitic disease that affects most commonly children under 5 years of age. In this report we present 6 cases from the clinical immunology service in the National Institute of Pediatrics that were seen in a short period of time. We discuss the peculiar clinical features that the patients presented that could help and support an early diagnosis of the disease, particularly erythema around the BCG scar, perineal erythema and elevated transaminases.
