ABSTRACT
The main risk factors for aspergillosis are severe immunosuppression states such as severe and prolonged neutropenia. The penetration of
Aspergillus spp in the connective tissue and vascular thrombosis occurs and eventually tissue necrosis. A case of a preschool with aplastic anemia who developed aspergillosis etmoidomaxilar being managed with amphotericin B and voriconazole had a fatal outcome. Sinus aspergillosis is a rare entity. Fulminant invasive aspergillosis is a very serious process that usually affects immunocompromised patients. To avoid the high mortality and morbidity associated with this process, it is essential to diagnosis and early treatment.
