ABSTRACT
Background: Laparoscopy surgery provides many advantages to the patients that
can undergo this surgical technique; nevertheless, it is not free of intraoperative
complications with minor and major seriousness.
Objectives: To update the complications related to anaesthesia in laparoscopic
surgery.
Development: A detailed review of the different search engines for the aspects
related to the most frequent complications implicit in the laparoscopic surgical
procedures was made.
Conclusions: Secondary to any laparoscopic procedure, many complications can
occur in which diagnosis and solution during the surgical act, the anaesthesiologist
should be prepared.
