ABSTRACT
Cecal volvulus is a rare clinical presentation and a cause of intestinal obstruction in these patients presenting clinical variables that
can be reached from acute abdominal pain to septic shock. Because of the unusual presentation and low repetition favors a delay
in diagnosis and treatment. The objective of this review is to raise awareness through the clinical case of disease pathogenesis,
clinical features and histophatology.
