ABSTRACT

The rubber band ligation for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease is a useful procedure recommended in grade II internal hemorrhoidal disease as well in patients with grade III high surgical risk. Hemorrhoidectomy, although higher response rate, is associated with frequent complications and pain.
