ABSTRACT

Battered child syndrome is a severe form of child abuse, domestic violence result, constituting an entity and forensic pediatric accompanying physical or psychological damage inflicted on a child by repeated attacks, caused by one or more adults who are in charge of the victim. An adequate knowledge of the criteria may help identification by medical staff.
