ABSTRACT

Due to the increase in life expectancy more attention has been brought to the problem of retirement for doctors. Determining when a physician should retire is the objective of this article. The reasons for forming a committee for Medical Retirement in the ABC Medical Center are explained, as well as the committee’s program and the manner of investigating, developing and implementing a culture of retirement for the physicians in our institution.
