ABSTRACT
In dermatology, lasers have been several applications, because the skin has qualities as an experimental model. Intense Pulsed
Light (IPL) is the emission of incoherent polychromatic light in a pulsed high-intensity, was marketed in 1994; and now the light
can be controlled by a computer. It is a non-invasive treatment to treat skin lesions, vascular and pigmented, it is also used for hair
removal, photorejuvenation and acne.
