ABSTRACT
Objective. To present a case of cystadenoma of choledochus with prospective pursuit. Seat. Hospital Juarez de Mexico. General Surgical Service. Description of case. This is the case of a 51 years old woman, with 6 months progressive jaundice, ongoinded prived open elective colecistectomy. Developed acolia, coluria and weight loss of 20 kilograms approximately. Was referred to the Hospital Juarez de Mexico and liver Ultrasonography was performed showing a similar image to choledocal cyst. Proceeded to carry out exploration of bile ducts, resection of choledocian sac and biliodigestive shunt. Histopatologic resulted a multilocular cystadenoma of extrahepatic bile ducts (choledochus). Conclusion. Hepatobiliar cystadenomas are uncommon tumors of hepatic parenquima and they are less frequent in extrahepatic bile ducts. The frequency in women is as high as 96.3%, and corresponds a 0.1% of the alimentary tract neoplasia. Only 4.6% are located in the origin of extrahepatic bile ducts, and appears either aberrant ducts or ectopic remains of embryonic vesicles. Are considered premaligns lesions. Gold standard in diagnosis is ERPC. Current treatment is hepatoyeyunoanastomosis Y-Roux.REFERENCES
