ABSTRACT
The emotions contribute to the appearance of some dermatological diseases; nevertheless, their mechanism of production yet has not clarified. The perianal region also is the site of appearance of some dermatosis of psycosomatic origin. These have subdivided in three groups: 1) those where the psychological factor is more important than the dermatological one; 2) where the dermatological suffering has different etiologic factors, one of which is the psychic one, and 3) when the dermatosis propitiates the psychological alterations in the patient.
