ABSTRACT
Longitudinal melanonychia is characterized by tan, browns, or blacks longitudinal streak within the nail plate. It’s results from increased melanin deposition in the nail plate. The causes of longitudinal melanonychia are numerous. The diagnosis of subungueal melanoma must always be included in the differential diagnosis of longitudinal melanonychia. We report the case of a 60 years old male with longitudinal melanonychia in the left great toe.
