ABSTRACT
During pregnancy, digestive tract suffers anatomical and functional changes that can considerably alter criteria for diagnosis and
treatment of disorders to which they are susceptible, these physiological changes can produce signs and common symptoms both
to pregnancy and to abdominal surgical illnesses and these changes represent a challenge in the evaluation and treatment of
pregnant woman with acute abdomen.
