ABSTRACT
Folicular dendritic cell neoplasms are lymphoid neoplasm extremely
rare. They mainly affect cervical, axilary and supraclavicular
nodes. They are usually wrongly diagnosed as non Hodgkin lymphoma.
Definitive diagnosis requires confirmation by inmunohistochemistry.
There are no firmly recommendations regarding treatment,
surgical resection remain the mainstay of treatment. Although
the majority of patients initially responded to treatment, 81% relapsed.
Using of new biological therapies depends on particular tumor
biology, which may proportionate new strategies for treatment.
