ABSTRACT
Myocarditis is an inflammatory myocardial disease whose etiology
can be variable. Clinical presentation range from asymptomatic or
signs of a virical infection, to symptoms of acute cardiac failure or
fulminant hemodynamic collapse with sudden death. Diagnosis is
made by clinical presentation and complementary studies, but confirmation
diagnosis is made by endomyocardial biopsy.
