ABSTRACT

Endovascular interventional treatment is substituted successfully to treatment with surgical conventional repair. The prevalence of abdominal aortic aneurysm has increased in line with rising life expectancy and decrease in cardiovascular mortality. Recent technological advances applied to the diagnosis and treatment abdominal aortic aneurysm are causing a change in therapeutic approach for patients with this disease.
