Drawing for the diagnosis of emotional dysfunctions in children and adolescents with Cystic Fibrosis

ABSTRACT
It was carried out a descriptive study in 19 patients that suffer Cystic Fibrosis which are assisted to the multidisciplinary team of national reference, in the university hospital Juan M Márquez, with the objective of exploring the presence of emotional dysfunctions in the same ones. Keeping in mind that in the infantile drawings "puts on of valuable apparent information about emotional aspects that it introduces the person that draws, these techniques are constituted in tools of a lot of value to explore the internal world of the individuals" the authors of the present work use this technique as part of the psychological study carried out during the process of diagnosis of these dysfunctions in the reference patients. In each one of the free and family drawings was evaluated the indicators of contents and topics, in ways and in structures, use of color and the execution of the human figure, for finally, to carry out the integral analysis of the same ones where it is evidenced that most of the patients, in the study, without specifying if they arrive or not to reach diagnoses clinical psychiatric disorders, present affectations in the emotional sphere referred to her or himself and in their family environment prevailing in them the tension and environmental insecurity, the inhibition of the emotional answer and the anguish with bad temperament. It demonstrates the utility of this technique as part of the diagnosis process to reveal all the wealth of their internal world.REFERENCES
