Fournier’s gangrene

ABSTRACT

Fournier’s gangrene is a fulminant necrotizing fasciitis and progressive poly microbial origin that affects the perianal region, perineal, genital and abdominal. Aerobic organisms are found in 10% of cases, the anaerobic 20% and 70% consists of mixed microbial flora. This paper will briefly review the epidemiological, its pathophysiology, clinical features and current management
