ABSTRACT
We present the first case of Rocky MountainsFever Myocarditis diagnosed in our hospital, in which the clinical evolution
was severe and rapidly lethal. The autopsy revealed the bacteria Ricketssiarickettsi within de myocardial muscle. Being the first case
in northwestern Mexico with histopathological evidence, we emphasize the importance of performing as many as possible clinical
cardiological tests to evaluate the magnitude of myocardial damage and other hearth malfunctions that might affect hemodinamically.
