ABSTRACT
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast is an uncommon tumor occurring in less than 1% of breast cancers, but with a better prognosis than the other varieties. The morphology is indistinguishable from the tumor of the salivary gland. In this 55 years old woman, the diagnosis of the tumor in the breast was made by aspiration biopsy, and confirmed in the histological sections.
