ABSTRACT
The objective was to determine whether there are differences in attitudes toward adoption by homosexuals among adolescents and adults. Today, younger generations show flexibility with respect to new social situations that are generated, as in the case of homo adoptions, compared with adults. For data collection a questionnaire was used with dichotomous and other instrument created by researchers whose answers were multiple choices. Participants were 100 volunteers, divided into two groups according to generation: 50 young - between 18 and 25 years and 50 adults - between 40 and 63 years. The results indicate that the generation of young people has more positive attitudes and beliefs towards adoption by same-sex couples. The results are discussed in terms of social and legal implications and possible future changes given that the new generations show greater acceptance of sexual diversity and adoption.REFERENCES
