ABSTRACT
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death around the world. The number of cases continues to increase especially in certain groups such as pediatric patients. The state of the art of treatment is chemotherapy on the basis of kill the tumor cell. This strategy has failed despite the addition of strategies as inhibitors of tyrosine kinase or immunotherapy. One of the theories that have marked the development of humanity is the evolution of species. Evolution means development, progress and differentiation, situation that also fulfills all the cells including tumor cells. Darwinism is a current which can helps us to understand the success of the tumor cells over the other cells.
