Two years ago, I was appointed by the board of directors of the Mexican College of Anesthesiology as editor of our journal, the Revista Mexicana de Anestesiología. I will use this space to inform our readers about all that has been achieved in these two years of hard work, as well as the goals for the next few years in terms of a wider influence, a higher scientific level and a broader indexation of our scientific journal.
