The empathy in education: study of a university students sample

ABSTRACT
This work reveals the need to promote the empathy from the university programs of educators' formation. The sample consisted of 105 college students of Faculty of Education from the Complutense University of Madrid, who completed the Test of Cognitive and Affective Empathy (TECA). The results revealed that the "educational empathy" can turn influenced by the gender. It is insisted also in that the empathic intersubjective style is an integral part of education, and should be a schooling goal for future pedagogues and educators.
