ABSTRACT
We report a casediagnosed withsclerodermain "José ManuelSeguí" health area in
Guirade Melenamunicipality.Itaims atdemonstrating theimportance of agood physical examand questioningto reacha possible diagnosis.This is apatient who comesto the consultation with an asymptomaticskin lesionof10 yearsof evolutionthat has been treatedasringworm(tineacorporis)becauseof its clinical condition. A mycological study was indicate followed byhistopathology study. Also, a sample of the lesion diagnosed with scleroderma was taken. We present the casebecause,despite havingseveral years of evolutionwith treatment, thelesion hadincreased in sizewithout reaching adefinitive diagnosis.
