Glycogen-rich clear cell carcinoma of the breast

ABSTRACT

A 29 years old woman was diagnosed with clear cell carcinoma rich in glucogen of the right breast. This tumor is rare, it is the first case, which is building by clears cells. The tumor was completely composed of clear cells which were PAS positive; there was intraductal growth and focal areas of stromal infiltration. The oncogenes P53 and CER2 were positive and image cytometry showed a diploid population. After 43 months of follow up the patient was free of tumor activity.
