New Approaches in Treatment of Enterocutaneous Fistulae

ABSTRACT

The enterocutaneous fistulae constitute a frequent and severe complication of a high mortality index. A review was done on this topic, by consulting several sources, considering the management of postoperative enterocutaneous fistulas, which included the treatment with an empty and compressing system to improve regarding the prognosis of those patients who suffered from this disease.
