Multiple myeloma in a young adult. Case presentation

ABSTRACT
Background: Multiple myeloma is a hematological disease and the most common malignant neoplasia of the bone. It is frequent in advanced ages of life. Case presentation: a 38 year old man came to consultation complaining of a marked asthenia, recurrent colds and bony pains in the dorsal, interscapular and lumbosacral regions. . During his stay on the hospital, anemia was diagnosed and as past of the study a bone marrow test was performed which revealed a multiple myeloma, hematological neoplasia which is not frequent in young adults. The patient was treated with cytostatics and steroids Conclusiones: The anatomopathological diagnosis and the combination of advanced drugs managed a symptomatic relief and improvement in the patient life quality.REFERENCES
