ABSTRACT
The hidroadenoma poroide is a rare benign intradermal neoplasm. Presents eccrine differentiation, constituting one of the four histological
variants within the group of poromas next to hidroacantoma simple or intraepidermal poroma, eccrine poroma and dermal duct tumor. The
pathogenesis is unknown but actinic damage, radiation or HPV have been implicated. We present a case of poroid hidroadenoma in a 55
year old patient with a solitary tumor in his right forearm.
