ABSTRACT
A case of uterus enlargement produced by multiple smooth muscle nodules many of microscopic size with in proliferation smooth muscle cells around the blood vessels in a 41 year old woman is reported. These morphologic features are typical of diffuse leiomyomatosis. The pathogenesis and differential diagnosis with low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma and adenomyosis is presented.
