ABSTRACT
Daily forgetfulness and memory complaints could be considered the first displays of cognitive decline during the elderly. Its evaluation is relevant for early diagnostic of a possible dementia´s process, as well as the design more appropiate fundamentaly for training the memory in healthy people, because the reserve capacity and cognitive plasticity in the cognitive functioning has been demonstrated in different researchs (Fernández-Ballesteros, 2009). In this paper is offered a brief analysis about the assessment´s instruments more used for approaching to the daily memory, moreover the outcomes of daily forgetfulness autoregister, that were applied during a memory training programme. The usefulness is discussed for decreasing lapses in day to day life as a mindless action and those related with restrospective work memory and prospective memory in combination with others techniques. The finding become important for this kind of interventions in the elderly.
