ABSTRACT
Mondor’s disease is a benign
condition that is characterized
by a superficial thromboflebitis
of the mammary region. The
etiology is not clear; there are
risk factors that include breast
surgery, biopsy, inflammatory
process, breast cancer and
trauma. Management is guided
towards pain with analgesics and
non-steroidal antiinflamatories.
