ABSTRACT
Gastric cancer (GC) is the
most common tumor in
gastrointestinal tumors
worldwide. GC is one of the
leading causes of cancer death
in Costa Rica. It has been
described that survival for
gastric carcinoma at 5 years
round globally 5-15%, and most
patients are diagnosed with an
advanced disease, this because
of its silent early manifestations.
