Proposal of actions for prevention of occupational diseases in informatics specialists by means of physical and educative activities

ABSTRACT
In recent decades, the realization of physical activity as a way to improve the quality of life has exploded worldwide. Physical education from the earliest ages is recognized as indispensable to the development of human personality. Sport and physical activity have been used as important means to improve health and correcting pathologies almost entirely. The computer is considered a low-volume specialty motor activity, with long positions in time, sedentary hours of intense mental aspects linked to ergonomic factors work as a result bring the suffering of aches and ailments that have qualified as occupational diseases in the computer. Given that the student of this race most of the time is at a computer, unaware that poor posture and lack of exercise can bring you health problems, this paper sets out a proposal of physical activities and education to contribute to the prevention of occupational diseases in the computer students of 3rd, 4th and 5th year of the Regional Faculty of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) ‘Martyrs of Artemisa’.
