ABSTRACT
Biosafety represents a vital component of the quality assurance system, and should be understood as a doctrine directed to achieve attitudes and conducts that diminish risk of the worker to acquire infections in the occupational environment. The most important element of this discipline, is the strict compliance of the practices and appropriate procedures and the efficient use of materials and equipments, the which do they constitute the first barrier to level of contention for the personnel and its environment.
