ABSTRACT
Brain abscess is an uncommon infection in the child, but it may represent a very serious life-threatening risk even if many diagnostic and therapeutic advances are available. Its clinical presentation depends on location and the diagnosis requires a lot of presumption since it may also appear as a complication of frequent infectious processes in the childhood. This is the case of 5 years-old girl suffering frontal brain abscess secondary to maxillary sinusitis. The clinical manifestations, the results of supplementary tests and of the treatment were described.REFERENCES
