ABSTRACT
The nasoangiofibroma occurs almost exclusively in adolescent males and corresponds to 0.5-0.05% of all head and neck tumors, varying this number in some Asian and African countries. This case corresponds to the description of a nasoangiofibroma treated and documented in the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad Ciudad Salud. Because it is a highly vascular tumor and surgical resection has a high risk for trans and postoperative bleeding, a decision was taken to selectively embolize the tumor; after 24 hours the patient underwent surgery and was discharged 96 hours later.REFERENCES
