ABSTRACT

At present times, one of the greatest demands that our country has for its caregivers is the adequate control of invasive diagnostic studies and their correct interpretation. That’s why we have taken on the task of making this easy following guide for the proper execution of the paracentesis and its subsequent evaluation, classification and management of ascitis on the pediatric patient.
