Granular cells tumor of the breast. A case report and revision of literature

ABSTRACT

The tumor of granular cells is a uncommon neoplasia, being exceptional its mammary location, where sometimes it simulates a carcinoma, being the majority of benign nature, whose treatment is only the local extirpation in the majority of the cases. A case report of a woman of 56 years of age, without previous pathology of breast, which presented of 8 months with a nodule in left mammary gland, it was classified like BI-RADS 4, with a biopsy by negative aspiration for malignant cells and a incisional biopsy which reports estromal fibrosis, excisional biopsy is realized, where tumor of granular cells is reported.
