ABSTRACT
This paper seeks an approach to psychopathological conditions associated with suicidal behavior in adolescents for which, we conducted a documentary analysis of articles, books and studies published in various sources of documentation. The study showed that the motivations linked to suicidal adolescents, are related to psychopathology such as depression, anxiety, obsessivecompulsive thoughts, negativity, as well as a significant difficulty in resolving conflicts, poor affective communication between parents and children, few prosocial skills and introspection, personal frustrations, dissatisfaction socioeconomic and various altered states of consciousness, including self-flagellation as a means of palliative to the inadequate resolution of problems arising from their family and social environment.
